College students come from all across North Carolina and our nation, and often their families live far from campus. Our college sponsor program is compromised of caring people who are willing to create a home-away-from-home experience for college students.


Our College Student Sponsor Program helps foster relationships by providing care and genuine concern that can make a big difference in encouraging students in his or her studies and other tasks. Sponsor families provide students with positive adult role models, who can serve as mentors, friends, and advisors in an environment that allows time to relax away from the rigors of the academic life. This interaction is essential to fostering professional and social development, especially for new freshman students. The program is offered for the duration of a student's time at any of our colleges in the local area. Students and sponsors are matched using common interests, hobbies, etc.
