New CDC Recommendations & our safety precautions

Thank you for your patience and understanding during the pandemic. Our willingness to wear masks, practice social distancing, while staying focused on our mission and vision, has allowed us to stay focused on our mission and vision while successfully and safely gathering on Sunday’s. We understand the new CDC recommendations, and in this time of transition we will continue to seat people in the church according to social distancing, and we will continue offering communion once per month with our present communion procedures, while we also continue to reassess the present COVID climate. We recognize that people will continue to wear masks and practice social distancing, even though they are vaccinated, which is completely fine. It’s important for us to recognize that people simply feel more comfortable with masks and social distancing, that there are people who have auto-immune deficiencies and want to be cautious, and we have families with children in church who are not old enough to receive a vaccination and want to continue practicing safe precautions. As we respect one another’s practices, we continue to do what love requires of us and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Thank you for your cooperation and willingness to walk through this next season of our church.
